Mirabeau: un trionfo di vocali dal sentore parigino, sospese sulla Senna a comporre un ricordo o a traghettarci a riva seguendo una scia di sandalo, pepe rosa e cedro.
Nel cuore della Ville Lumière, seguendo il fiume verso il crepuscolo, troviamo un ponte, una poesia e un profumo.
Un ponte discreto è simbolico, che incarna lo spirito costruttore che valica le frontiere e riunisce sublimando. Fondamenta solide di cedro, sandalo e orcanox che attraversano l'amore e ne abbracciano i sentori di muschio.
Una poesia lenta e violenta, la speranza brutale e affascinante di chi vuole credere che lei lo ami ancora. Vaniglia, scrivo il tuo nome nella delicata traccia dell'incenso e delle foglie di violetta.
Un profumo per salvarci tutti, ripescarci in silenzio sulla Senna e infine riunire con violenza corpo e anima: alcol sull'acqua delle nostre essenze, bergamotto e pepe rosa inframmezzati da note di fico in un flacone di vetro.

Ci sono i ponti dove si incatenano le promesse degli amanti, altri che hanno visto grandi battaglie iscritte nella Storia e altri ancora che le generazioni future ammireranno per la perfezione architettonica. Tutti ponti famosi, per un motivo o per l'altro.
Ma c'è un ponte che non ha bisogno di catene, battaglie né opere di genio per restare impresso nei nostri ricordi: è il Pont Mirabeau, a cui sono bastati i pochi versi della poesia di Apollinaire.
È vero, sono pur sempre i versi di un grande poeta che parlano di amore, e di un amore infelice. Apollinaire li compone per Marie, la sua amata che l'ha appena lasciato, ma questo non ce lo dice, ce lo lascia soltanto immaginare. D'altronde, non rivediamo già la storia di tanti amanti, di un amore che scorre via come i giorni e l'acqua del fiume?
Il profumo che porta lo stesso nome del Pont Mirabeau vuole incarnarne la forza che resiste ai flutti della Senna e allo scorrere del tempo di cui è testimone impassibile, come recita la ripetizione finale del primo verso. Ma la delicatezza delle fragranze unite a questa base esprime anche la malinconia degli amori passati, mentre una nota acuta si impone come testimone della Speranza violenta.
L'unione di forza e delicatezza rende questo profumo il ponte simbolico delle mani del poeta e della sua Marie, e al contempo simboleggia la storia eterna di tutti gli amanti, come Apollinaire.
Non gli amori delle leggende, resi immortali dalla morte e ardenti di una passione che resiste all'ingiuria del tempo, ma quelli troppo umani, che credevamo eterni e che si consumano invece in un giorno, scorrendo via come l'acqua del fiume.
Apollinaire e Marie certamente si amavano, ma il poeta è "cosa alata" dice Platone, vola e si lascia attirare da mille fiori dai profumi voluttuosi. E la ragazza che immaginiamo fragile e indifesa è in realtà una donna piena di passione e sentimenti intensi che vogliono l'esclusività e non contemplano il perdono. Sarà proprio lei a porre fine alla relazione, e né le suppliche né le promesse del poeta potranno cambiare la sua decisione.
Così Apollinaire diventerà per sempre l'uomo respinto dalle due donne che aveva intensamente amato. Da questa disperazione nasceranno "La canzone del non-amato" e "Il Ponte Mirabeau". Eppure un giorno riuscirà a dedicar loro un sereno addio:
Ho colto questo filo d'erica
Ricordati l'autunno è morto
Non ci vedremo più su questa terra
D'erica ramo odor del tempo
